Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Announces New Designer
Alberta Ferretti has stepped down as creative director of Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti to focus more of her time and energy on her primary collection.
As a result, the designer has tapped Central Saint Martins alumna, Natalie Ratabesi to replace her.
Ratebesi has previously worked at brands including Dior, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, and Gucci, and prior to her new position with Philosophy, Ratebesi was senior creative director at Polo Ralph Lauren.

"[I] thought it was the right moment to give a more autonomous and independent vision to Philosophy," Ferretti said. "For her femininity and her energy, I am certain that Natalie will be able to express the [Philosophy] spirit."
Ratebesi will debut her first collection for Philosophy in February for the Fall 2013 season.
