Manolo and McQueen: Not One, but TWO Fashion Movies in Production Now!

Designing dresses constructed entirely out of leaves, rain on the runway which soaked the models as they walked, and using Shalom Harlow as a human canvas - Alexander McQueen will always be remembered in our hearts – and closets – for his innovative designs and edgy and theatrical runway shows. And soon we will have a movie to remember him with as well – Deadline reports that a movie, directed by Andrew Haigh known for his work on 45 Years, will start production by year’s end!

As if we weren’t already on the edge of our seats waiting for the Alexander McQueen movie, we have just learned that production is underway. ‘Manolo’ – is a documentary about iconic footwear designer Manolo Blahnik. Featuring interviews with Anna Wintour, Isaac Mizrahi, Iman, and many other big names in fashion, Manolo is directed by Michael Roberts and produced by Nevision Studios One Limited.
