Penélope Cruz is headed to New York Fashion Week—but don't hold your breath for any front row appearances.

Instead, the Spanish siren's smoldering, smokey-eyed gaze will be confronting the chinchilla-wearing crowd via a 70-foot-tall billboard looming over the Garment District.

As the face of PETA's "Give Fur the Cold Shoulder," a seemingly topless Cruz lends her A-list support to the anti-fur campaign, which recently launched a nude ad starring Olivia Munn.

"Penélope Cruz has appeared on every 'best-dressed' list in the world, and the one thing you'll never see her wearing is fur," says PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange in a press statement.

"PETA couldn't ask for a more fitting emblem of the modern, glamorous woman who knows that there's nothing more beautiful than a woman who has a look that kills without anyone having to die for it."

Look for the billboard on Penn Plaza's 33rd Street Tower (hilariously juxtaposed with Sofia Vergara's Diet Pepsi ad), with appearances in London, Paris, and Milan on the horizon.
