Lily Aldridge’s Wedding Dress: Strapless Vera Wang Gown
Victoria’s Secret bridal collection model Lily Aldridge has traded in her “Sexy Little Bride” panties for something a bit more lavish—namely, a custom Vera Wang wedding dress. That’s because the stunning Angel and Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill have officially tied the knot.
According to Us Weekly, Aldridge, wearing a strapless mermaid gown with layers of Chantilly and corded lace appliqué and raw edge swirling chiffon detail on the back, married Followill—who sported a Gucci suit—at San Ysidiro Ranch in Montecito, Calif., at 5:30 p.m. PT on May 12.
“It was a perfect day,” Followill, whose bandmates—brothers Nathan and Jared Followill and cousin Matthew Followill—were all in attendance, told Us.
Up until now, the couple, who began dating in 2007, have played coy about when they would get married.
“We don’t really want to say—but it’s soonish!” Aldridge told FashionEtc in late April, adding that she was taking a low-key approach to wedding planning.
“I’m not a Bridezilla at all!” she insisted. “I’m the opposite. I’m so, so mellow. But I’ve definitely gotten all my stuff together, like what underwear I’m going to wear, my gown, my shoes.”
