A Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 look.
The Italian duo is bringing their ornate designs to a new demographic with a children's line set to arrive in July, reports WWD.
But don't expect casual playground rompers for the rough and tumble set. "It’s a miniature version of our signature line," Gabbana tells the paper. Indeed. A sneak peek shows tuxedos and sequined dresses, perfect for tots whose own parents have long favored the dramatic and take-notice looks.
But Dolce pulled influence from his own nieces and nephews so expect function to play as key a role as good quality and designs.
Finally, our dream of becoming the kooky older aunt figure who bestows top-notch gifts upon our friends' children is realized.
