Nicole Kidman is giving Marie Claire U.K. some Southern comfort this month.

For the magazine's March issue, the Australian star—looking lovely on the cover in a white lace Dolce & Gabbana dress and Diane Kordas hoop earrings—shows off her new Nashville roots for a shoot that blends the catwalk with the country.

Photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath captures the redheaded Oscar nominee in floaty gowns from Rochas, Valentino, Alberta Ferretti, and Etro as she enjoys the rustic beauty of the Tennessee landscape.

The actress also opens up about finding her soul mate in Keith Urban, raising children (she and Urban just welcomed daughter Faith through a surrogate), having a near-death experience, and experimenting with Botox.

"Well, I move my forehead, I frown … " she says of Botox.

Hay, lady: Kidman goes a little bit country for Marie Claire U.K.

"I tried it, I didn’t like it, so I’ve gone back to my own forehead. But I’ve never had plastic surgery on my face. People say I have but I haven’t."

Though she's "crazy in love" with Urban—crediting a rule against text messages and never spending more than two days apart—Kidman also reflects on her infamous first marriage to Tom Cruise.

"As a couple we were very private," she says. "We were not out a lot and we were very, very tight and that’s why we lasted 10 years, which is a good amount of time, particularly when you get married at 23.

"I was never seeking to be a celebrity. But I was prepared to do that for love. And that is something that is hard to do. It’s hard when you’re young. But I’m ready to give up anything for love because, ultimately, that is what you have. You get so much from a relationship when it is filled with love."
