Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011 Gallery

Bigger, better and more wing-y.

Some 31 sets of wings—the most ever—flew down the catwalk during the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at the 69th Armory in New York on November 9.

The looks, 69 in total (check them out in the above gallery), were broken down into six themed sections: Ballet, Super Angels, Passion Play, Angels Aquatic, I Put a Spell on You, and Club Pink, while more than 2 million Swarovski crystals were used on the models, the backdrop and even the runway.

If you think that's impressive, consider the $12 million cost of the whole production.

Candice Swanepoel opened the show in a ballet-inspired tutu and it just got hotter from there.

Like when Miranda Kerr first appeared. All cameras were on husband Orlando Bloom—who was front row, of course—as he stood beaming. Kerr waved, and even though the ribbon of one of her red shoes came undone, the Angel was unfazed, completing her walk before kicking off the heel and disappearing backstage.

Kanye West got the audience to its feet performing “Stonger” to models cruising by in comic book-worthy Super Angel getups complete with billowy silk capes. And if there was anyone left seated, they jumped to attention when surprise guest Jay-Z joined his "Watch the Thrown" collaborator on stage wearing a hoodie, which he flicked off as soon as wife Beyoncé was escorted to her front-row perch.

The duo went on to perform “N****s in Paris,” while Beyoncé, in a voluminous white dress that showed off her baby bump, danced and sang along to every word.

Karlie Kloss, this year's hottest Victoria's Secret addition, made her début as a Super Angel to West’s serenade, then later strutted her stuff in the Angels Aquatic section. Kloss also closed the show as part of the Club Pink finale.

Maroon 5 and its sexy front man Adam Levine bumped it up a notch with their stirring performance of “Move Like Jagger,” as Miranda Kerr hit the catwalk in the $2.5 million Fantasy Treasure Bra topped off with wings that resembled a clamshell.

When Levine’s girlfriend Anne V. took her turn, he chased her down the catwalk and kissed her on the cheek to the awaiting cameras. She returned the favor by dancing with him when she returned to the stage, where the band was playing.

Nicki Minaj was the last but not least musical act, taking to the mic during Club Pink to sing her hit “Super Bass,” with model after model coming out in wings accessorized with some of Minaj’s greatest hits (pom-poms, crazy colors, and mega-sparkle).

As usual, the audience was packed with celebrities including Debbie Harry in elbow-length gloves, True Blood's Joe Manganiello, Alexander Wang with Carine Roitfeld, Gossip Girl actors Matthew Settle and Chace Crawford, Tyson Beckford in a bow tie, Lake Bell, Donna Karan, and director Michael Bay.

Trust us, you won't want to miss the Victoria's Secret Fashoin Show, which airs November 29 on CBS.
