‘Gossip Girl’ Costumer Eric Daman Launches DKNY Hosiery Line

Rumor-worthy legs: The new hosiery line from Gossip Girl costumer Eric Daman for DKNY
If you’ve ever lusted after Blair Waldorf or Serena Van Der Woodsen’s legwear, take note: the man who dresses their stylish stems has launched a line of his own.
Eric Daman, the costume designer behind Gossip Girl, is collaborating with DKNY on a collection of hosiery, available now.
“I think it’s a very sexy part of women’s clothing,” Daman told FashionEtc.
“Especially being in New York in the fall and winter, it’s really a defining part of your look. It’s your bling for your legs, in a way.”
Daman’s brand of “bling” includes sexy thigh highs, floral lace stockings, and textured knit tights.
“The whole collection is inspired by New York City,” he told us, citing architecture as the inspiration behind the vertical knits, and buckets of flowers outside a deli as the muse for the floral lace.
One thing the collection doesn't include? Sheer nude hose. We'll just leave that one to the sisters Middleton ...
