Giles Deacon is no longer with Emanuel Ungaro

Looks like the revolving door at Emanuel Ungaro is ready for another spin.

The French label has announced that it and creative director Giles Deacon have "mutually decided" to go their separate ways, Women's Wear Daily reports.

Deacon, who also oversees his own Giles label and did a recent Nine West collaboration, joined the fashion house in April 2010, replacing head designer Estrella Archs.

At that time, Ungaro was still licking its wounds over its poorly received Fall 2010 collection from Archs and short-lived artistic director Lindsay Lohan, was out soon after.

The Spring 2012 collection, due to hit Paris on October 3, has reportedly been designed by Ungaro's in-house team. Still, the brand is confident that its latest offering will impress, designer or no.

"Emanuel Ungaro embodies a very rich and distinct DNA which the company will deliver with a modern spirit,” Jeffry M. Aronsson, Ungaro’s chief executive officer, told WWD.

As for Deacon, it's a good time to be an "unemployed" fashion designer. After all, Louis Vuitton just might have an opening soon.
