Karl Lagerfeld Out, Mario Sorrenti in for Pirelli Calendar

It was fun while it lasted!
After offering a sexed-up take on Greek mythology for the 2011 Pirelli Calendar, Karl Lagerfeld is handing over the reins to fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti.
Casting director Jennifer Starr confirms to FashionEtc that the lensman behind Scarlett Johansson's Mango campaigns will helm the calendar's 2012 shoot.
Though rumors had tipped Steven Meisel for the big gig, it is Sorrenti who will follow in the footsteps of Lagerfeld and Terry Richardson, who snapped the ultra-racy 2010 version.
And contrary to reports on Model Whispers that Russian model Anna Selezneva has been cast, no models have yet been confirmed for the sexy shoot.
Maybe Sorrenti can focus on convincing ScarJo to follow suit?
