CFDA Announces Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 Fashion Week Dates
Mark your calendars, plan your vacations accordingly, and, if you’re so inclined, begin the countdown: the Council of Fashion Designers of America has announced the dates for the next two New York Fashion Weeks.
The Spring 2012 Fashion Week will run from Thursday, September 8 through Thursday, September 15, and the following Fall 2012 Fashion week will take place Thursday, February 9 through Thursday, February 16, 2012. (Those who like to plan ahead: Fashion Weeks always begin on the second Thursday of February and September.)
As for resort, while not a technical Fashion Week (designers are requested to keep their shows within a two-week period), it’s on the books as well. Resort 2011 collections are scheduled to show between Monday, June 6 and Friday, June 17.
