Jennifer Lawrence Covers Marie Claire U.K.

Jennifer Lawrence Dior July cover Marie Claire
Jennifer Lawrence is ethereal in a blue Dior gown on the July cover of Marie Claire.

She may play a mutant in X-Men: First Class, but Jennifer Lawrence looks anything but as she graces the July cover of Marie Claire U.K. in a plunging powder blue Dior gown.

Photographed before she went brunette to play heroine Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptation of The Hunger Games, the Oscar-nominated actress sports tousled blonde hair (accented with a crown of wildflowers) and a selection of bohemian maxidresses from the likes of Rochas, Dolce & Gabbana, and Donna Karan for the rustic countryside shoot.

The 20-year-old also comes clean about her relationship status ("I'm not single," she says in reference to rumored boyfriend, X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult) and the pressures of Hollywood.

"Oscar season was surreal and bizarre," the Winter's Bone star tells the fashion magazine. "'It's the biggest thing that can happen to an actress and then it's also ... they call your name on the news at 5 o'clock in the morning and it's not your life any more.

"The Oscars itself was the most fun but all those shows leading up to it had so much stress. Like this dress and that dress ... I felt like a politician on a campaign trail."

While her red-hot, figure-hugging Calvin Klein Oscar dress earned many votes for best-dressed (and sexiest?) of the night, Lawrence tries to maintain a healthy outlook when it comes to body image.

"I understand I'm an actress and I have a job and I have to be in a certain shape, and I'm fine with that," she says. "But I do want the stick-thin trend to end. I like eating so I didn't really diet during the Oscars. In fact I needed to go on a diet afterwards!"

Welcome to our world, Jen!
