- The ever-glamorous Angelina Jolie took to the red carpet in a two-tone Atelier Versace gown and Versace shoes, a Christian Louboutin clutch, red lips, and a chic chignon.
- Sofia Vergara showed off her bombshell body in a custom Vera Wang peacock blue strapless mermaid gown, which she accented with Harry Winston jewels.
- The Help star Jessica Chastain glowed at her first-ever Golden Globes in an off-white Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci beaded creation, which she finished with Harry Winston jewels and a voluminous 'do.
- Homeland star Claire Danes looked modern and glamorous in an ecru and black J. Mendel gown with embroidered cap sleeves and open back.

The best and brightest stars in film and television pulled out all the stops for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, bringing the glamour in bright gowns, sparkling numbers, and elegant ensembles.
Major colors for the evening included moody blues and reds that perfectly matched the carpet, while another trend that really had legs (literally!) was gowns with sexy, thigh-high slits. As for the drama queens in the crowd, well, several mermaid-inspired ensembles made serious statements.
