Rafael Nadal’s Video for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans
Just days after the release of the teaser for Rafael Nadal’s new Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans campaign comes the full video. And this time, the tennis ace really courts the camera, lobbing plenty of longing gazes at the lens.
As in the teaser, the moody black-and-white video—which is much edgier than fellow spokesperson Megan Fox’s feminine campaign—opens with shattered glass falling into a pool of water. Suddenly we catch a glimpse of the two-time Wimbledon champ baring almost all in black Emporio Armani Underwear briefs.
The camera cuts to a crouching Nadal, now wearing distressed Armani Jeans and slowly rising as water splashes down upon his tanned and toned body. Nadal presses himself against a cracked, peeling wall as the camera lovingly sweeps up his abs and back, finally settling on his bedroom eyes staring seductively over his shoulder.
The 50-second clip also shows Nadal sporting black Emporio Armani Underwear briefs, tossing a tennis ball, lolling around in a pool of water, and seemingly "washing ashore" on drier land before giving the camera one more sexy stare-down.
What exactly does it all mean? We’re not quite sure. But when you look this good, really, does it matter?
