Karl Lagerfeld Teams Up with Jelly Footwear Brand Melissa

The king of collaborations, Karl Lagerfeld's latest joint endeavor is a line with Brazilian-based footwear brand Melissa.
Melissa, famous for their colorful plastic jelly shoes, has previously teamed up with Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Gareth Pugh and Alessandra Ambrosio on funky jelly designs.
According to Vogue U.K., Lagerfeld will be designing capsule collections for the label for the next four seasons, with the first range consisting of four different Fall 2013-14 styles that will be released in March.
Melissa's CEO Paulo Pedo said, "one of the most exciting collaborations the company has ever seen," while Karl Lagerfeld's CEO Pier Paolo Righi was quoted saying, "We are very excited about the partnership with Melissa who have been great in translating Karl's inspirations and designs into truly iconic and fun fashion products that many women in the world will happily wear."
A design dream come true, looks like Karl will be the peanut butter to Melissa's signature jelly.
