Real-Life Barbie Doll Gets Her Own V Magazine Spread

It was only a month ago that we first took notice of real life Barbie doll, Valeria Lukyonova, who has devoted her life to transforming her figure to look like Barbie's; and now she's got her very own fashion spread.

Photographed by Sebastian Faena for V Magazine's upcoming "Girl Power" issue (which features a wet Scarlett Johansson on its cover, and a racy nudy photo shoot with Rihanna and Kate Moss), the Barbie doll is as real as can be, wearing designer labels including Michael Kors, Dior, and Ralph Lauren.

The accompanying article features an interview with Lukyonova who, despite what we may believe, is not entirely focused on her appearance — though we beg to differ.

"People don't understand that it has nothing to do with looks. There are many good-looking young women, but why are they completely unknown? Because looks are just a bonus. If you spend time working on only your appearance and you forget about your inner self, people will not be interested in you because they will not feel anything. Many people think you need only good looks to be successful, but it's not true—only spiritual work can bear tangible results."

While a significant portion of her day go towards applying makeup and going to the gym (she's also had breast enhancement surgery), Lukyonova is very much devoted to the metaphysical and is a teacher at The School of Out-of-Body Travel, which "shows students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe."

Sounds like she's leading quite the balanced life, though we're still totally weirded out.
