Britney Spears Talks Zits and Her Celebrity Style Icons in December Lucky
Don't you just love it when a celebrity keeps it real?
Take Lucky's December cover girl, Britney Spears, who has no qualms about opening up about her problem skin in her chat with writer Sarah Miller.
"I get, like, these giant boxes of lip gloss and nail polish, and it's like candy," she tells the magazine. "I really just wear mascara all the time. And powder, because I have zits. I love Clearasil face wash. I'm old-fashioned."
Gracing the December cover in a holiday-perfect red H&M skirt paired with a sheer polka-dot BCBGeneration top, the singer cites 'classic beauty' Jennifer Lopez as well as Sarah Jessica Parker as her personal style icons.
"Her looks are really bright and funky and young," she says of Parker.
And what of Spears' own style? The mother of two professes a love of "big, stupid earrings, like with loops and feathers" and shoesĂłminus the socks.
"I never wear socks," says Spears. "I hate socks."
