Tyra Banks Sells Sitcom Based on Her Teenage Years

The model mogul is developing a TV comedy, Fivehead, based on her teen journey to becoming a bold-faced name.
Banks—ahem, just Tyra—is teaming up with childhood friend and business partner, Kenya Barris, for the ABC sitcom; the two have been friends since they were six-years-old.
“To be able to witness her career was wild, but to be able to watch Tyra grow up was nothing short of nutty,” said Barris to Deadline. “I am blown away by the opportunity to tell not just a great story but a story that I remember so fondly.”
Fivehead is named for a term you may have heard the model use on America's Next Top Model before, in reference to a large forehead.
It seems to have worked out well for Banks so far.
