Anne V's Acting Career Going Strong
Models taking a dip in the acting pool is nothing new; in fact many models who try out the silver screen wind up leaving the runway to take on acting as their #1 profession.
Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, Charlize Theron, and Brooklyn Decker are a few examples of long, lean beauties who started off as models before breaking into film, and now it seems that Anne Vyalitsyna is jumping on board as well.
Set to make her acting debut in the fifth installment of Die Hard (expected to hit theaters in February 2013), the Russian swimsuit model already has another movie in the works. According to Just Jared, Anne has been cast in the upcoming comedy-drama, Lullaby, alongside Amy Adams, Terence Howard, Jennifer Hudson, and Garrett Hedlund.
The film follows the life of a man named Jonathan (Hedlund) who finds out from his estranged family that his dying father has decided to be taken off life support within 48 hours.
Anne is cast as Jonathan's cousin, so if you were expecting her to be typecast as the 5-minute cameo hottie, think again; this sounds like some pretty serious stuff.
Though Anne's modeling career is still going strong (she just landed the cover of Vogue MĂ©xico), we can't help but wonder if she'll end up following in the footsteps of fellow swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, who's said goodbye to her modeling career for good.
