Coming to a TV Near You: Betsey Johnson
Among the spate of fashion reality television shows out there, one just announced smacks of an AbFab premise, only with more '90s florals and less Lacroix.
Lucky Magazine reports that Style Media (the Style Network's parent company) is developing Betsey + Lulu, featuring the Johnson mother-daughter duo in their Manhattan habitat. With the eclectic and unrestrained Betsey as a star, we're surely guaranteed some on-air shenanigans—and a cartwheel or two, no doubt—while Lulu's attempts to launch her own line ensure her business-mindedness will clash with her mother's freewheeling ways.
