We at FashionEtc love a good shopping spree. And what's better than leaving a store with a new bag or pair of shoes? That's not rhetorical: there is something better, and Bloomingdale's has the answer with their new Loyallist program. Shopping and getting points in return? Sold!

The perks program is unique in that it is tender neutral. Cash, Bloomingdale's credit card, or other credit card, no matter—the points are yours. Every dollar yields one point, (but head to the cosmetics counter and you double the points. As if we needed an excuse to spend more on lipstick.)

Bloomingdale's credit cards get 3 points per dollar, and very loyal shoppers—those who spend at least $3,500 annually with their department store card—get 4 points per dollar. Online and outlet purchases are just as eligible for point redemption as in-store transactions. For every 5,000 points accrued, customers receive a $25 gift card.

To join, visit the Loyallist site to learn more about accumulating points. Of course, you can also enroll in-store, so if you'll excuse us, we're off to make some headway with our spring wish list.
