She may have raised the wrath of Oscar de la Renta by wearing Alexander McQueen to a White House State Dinner for the Chinese president, but Michelle Obama is making two other designers (and hopefully shoppers) very happy and may have even inspired a collaboration with her choice of dress for Oprah.

According to Elle, Prabal Gurung was all a-Twitter after seeing a photo of Mrs. Obama on the Oprah Winfrey Show in a pink shift from his label and a Fenton/Fallon Victoria Royal necklace by Dana Lorenz.

“First Lady is wearing @fentonfallon necklace with my dress n I love it coz Dana is a friend of mine," he tweeted. “So glad we can share this moment yay!”

Lorenz was equally enthusiastic and replied, “Seriously, it’s like the most ultimate and amazing combination ever — love you!”

In a spark of genius, Gurung suggested that they collaborate.

“Yes we must!” replied Lorenz. “Say when!”

How about, like, right now?

While Gurung and Lorenz haven’t yet announced an official partnership, we think they're a perfect match.
