Zooey Deschanel Named New Face of Pantene

Pantene welcomes its new girl, Zooey Deschanel.

She’s said before that she’s all “bangs and eyes”—looks like it’s time she put those bangs to good use!

Zooey Deschanel is the new glossy-haired spokesmodel for haircare line Pantene, repping the brand’s Beautiful Lengths collection.

“I am so excited to be a part of the Pantene family,” Deschanel said in a release. “Anyone who knows me knows that I am really into hair. I’m a real girly girl and love doing my hair and experimenting with different styles.”

The New Girl star is putting a charitable spin on her partnership as well: the Beautiful Lengths collection also supports the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Program, which provides wigs to women who’ve lost their hair due to cancer.

"Pantene is helping to provide confidence and beautiful real-hair wigs to women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment," she said. "You can’t put a price on that.”

Deschanel’s TV, print, and online ad campaign will debut in August.
