When Lincoln Center became the new Fashion Week HQ last year, the neighboring Empire Hotel ranked as the unofficial after-show cocktail spot.

What could be a better way to unwind after a long day of shows than with a boozy beverage made for the fashion folks? Oscar de la Renta’s  fashionable son, Moises, has teamed up with the hotel to bring an even bigger dose of glam to the Fashion Week festivities: the Empire’s “Fashion Week Ambassadors” will wear a dress designed by the younger de la Renta as they serve a menu of themed cocktails that will cure any fashion week fatigue.

Drinks from left to right: Thanks, It's Vintage, Front Row Fashionista, and Don't Feed the Models.

The cocktails range from the classic (Thanks, It’s Vintage mixes rye, sweet vermouth, pomegranate molasses, and cherry bitters) to the tropical (Front Row Fashionista features cachaca, passion fruit puree, and Velvet Falernum) to the super-refreshing (Don’t Feed the Models has cucumber vodka and juice, fresh lime, simple syrup, and mint). But the one thing that ties these liquid treats together is their cheeky names, like the Avant-garde-tini, Couture on the Catwalk, Lincoln Center Luster, and the Make It Work—one we can only imagine Tim Gunn might partake in should he get thirsty at the tents.

It may be for toasting Fashion Week, but this is one indulgence you can enjoy well after the last show closes; the Empire hotel will serve all their Fashion Week cocktails throughout the month of September. (Do try these at home!)
