A Saturday shopping day was brought to a whole new level this weekend when Donna Karan, Emma Roberts, Kelly Ripa, and InStyle's Ariel Foxman hosted the 14th annual Super Saturday event, a Hamptons shopping extravaganza benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

"Super Saturday was started in 1998 by myself, Donna Karan and the late Liz Tilberis in a backyard after Liz was diagnosed with ovarian cancer," Faith Kates, the event's co-founder (she's also the founder of Next Model Management and the president of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund!) told FashionEtc of the event, which in its 14th year has grown enormously from its original iteration.

Saturday's event brought together wares from over 200 designers—this year's goodies came from Theory, Jimmy Choo, Diane von Furstenberg and many more—in a very chic garage sale setting on seven acres at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill, New York. "Liz was a great friend of mine and very influential in the fashion community as the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar," Kates said. "After her passing, Donna and I wanted to keep her legacy alive."

The event was as starry as ever—Christy Turlington, Abigail Breslin, Karlie Kloss, Isaac Mizrahi, Rachel Zoe, and Kim Kardashian's fiancé Kris Humpries were among the 2,500 browsers and buyers sporting their hot-weather finest—all the better to raise money for a worthy cause. The event's final tally? Super Saturday brought in a whopping $3.5 million, topping last year's total by $100,000. "Every dollar counts!" Kates said.

"I am so proud of what Super Saturday has grown to be," said Kates. "So much money has been raised for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and it’s a very rewarding feeling to see the impact we have had on so many lives."
