It may have been the biggest fashion party of the year, but there’s no party too big for an equally festive after-party at the top of the Standard.
After basking in the A-list glow of the Met Gala’s red carpet, enjoying a set by Florence and the Machine, and taking in the jaw-droppingly beautiful "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" exhibition, partygoers made their way downtown to the hot spot formerly known as the Boom Boom Room for a little more celebration.

Mickey Rourke showed up to rub elbows with the likes of Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Amar’e Stoudemire caught up with Knicks teammate Carmelo Anthony, and stars like Zöe Saldana, Brooklyn Decker, Kanye West, and a neon-clad Brad Goreski mixed with fashion’s finest (Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Christian Louboutin, and Calvin Klein among them). Diane Kruger even changed out of her showstopping Met ensemble for a feathered minidress—also by Jason Wu.
