Sofia Vergara Launching Kmart Fashion Line
Kmart is adding a little va-va-voom to its vibe.
The mass retailer has announced that it will team up with Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara on a new contemporary lifestyle collection.
Set to hit Kmart stores this fall, the exclusive collection will encompass sportswear, dresses, handbags, footwear and jewelry inspired by the Golden Globe–nominated star's bombshell style.
A preview reveals a fitted leather biker jacket, lace-trimmed camisole, draped tops, embellished miniskirts, a body-conscious LBD, and an animal-print corseted dress. In other words, hot, hot, hot!
"I am thrilled to be introducing the Sofia Vergara brand with Kmart," the 38-year-old Colombian beauty says in a press statement.
"I wanted to work with a national retailer that would truly value a collection that provides both fashion and quality at a price women could afford."
"The Sofia Vergara collection will draw on the star's notable, personal style with designs that will have broad appeal," adds John Goodman, executive vice president of Apparel and Home for Sears Holdings.
