Anne Hathaway fronts Allure's July issue.

No Prada-clad Devil to beat her down, Anne Hathaway showcases her natural beauty on the cover of Allure's July issue.

Hathaway is dipping her toes in everything from the silver screen to the stage, playing a sexy Catwoman to the sick and dying Fantine in Les Miserables.

The actress, who recently chopped off her hair for her Les Miserables role, flaunts cascading raven waves and her signature porcelain complexion on the beauty magazine's July cover.

Aside from the short bob, Hathaway had to lose a few pounds from her already thin frame for her starring role as Fantine, the dying tubercular prostitute.

“I’m doing some crazy weight stuff right now. I’m on day six of detox…this diet makes me break out, so I love that. Nothing like living on hummus and radishes and then be all, “And I got a pimple. Yeah!’”

Alluring: Anne shows off her natural beauty.

Hathaway's role in Catwoman demanded a similar gym-heavy transformation, yet instead of looking frail and fragile she needed to be fit and fabulous—enough to shimmy into a skin-tight catsuit.

“The Catwoman suit. It was a psychological terrorist…the suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit…it dominated my year.” “I went into the gym for ten months and didn’t come out.”

Squeezing her curves into a latex suit is one thing, but the actress refuses to go all the way nude for the cameras. “I’m as vain as the next girl, but I think it’s my job to show people as they live, and nudity is part of life.”

Wouldn't one prefer to be dressed in Prada anyway?
