5 Pop Star Fashion Lines We'd Love to See

Our pop star fashion line wish list: Cee-Lo Green, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Adele, and Florence Welch

With the news that Madonna is launching her second mainstream clothing line, to be called Truth or Dare, we can't help but wonder what's taking the rest of the music world so long to join the fashion game.

Sure, you've got Avril Lavigne's Abbey Dawn, Beyoncé's House of Deréon, Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B., and, er, Kanye West, but there's still plenty of room for other sartorial-minded songbirds. And it just so happens that we have a few crooners in mind. Not so fast, Bieber.

Cee-Lo Green: Sure, he's got style to spare, but given this soulful singer's penchant for hardly ever revealing his eyes, a unisex line of sunglasses seems like a perfect fit. And we've already got a name picked out: F-UV. It practically sells itself.

Taylor Swift: Bring on the sweet country-chic, y'all! Swift teamed up with L.E.I. on a line of dresses in 2009, but we think it's time for her to establish her own branded range with a mass retailer like Kohl's. Lace, eyelet, polka dots ... sounds like music to our ears!

Rihanna: Hopefully RiRi is taking some notes during her tenure as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. Though her chameleon-like style has been hard to pin down lately, we think skin-tight leather leggings and distressed jeans, sexy corsets, and a hot pant or two would be staples of any line with her name on it.

Adele: With throat issues keeping her grounded for now (get better soon, girl!), the Vogue U.K. cover star can use the downtime to focus on a line of curve-flattering pieces with a vintage appeal. We're thinking that belted trenches, embellished shift dresses, touches of sheer lace, and irresistibly cozy knits would go down as smoothly as her ballads.

Florence Welch: Anybody who serves a muse for both Karl Lagerfeld and Frida Giannini is clearly doing something right. Perhaps it's time for Flo to strike out on her own with a niche collection of gothic black capes, bodysuits, and embellished jackets. If only that Topshop collaboration wasn't just a rumor ...
