January Jones Fronts Versace Spring 2011 Ad Campaign
Don Draper might want to rethink that whole divorcing-Betty-and-proposing-to-Megan thing.
January Jones, better known as frosty suburbanite housewife Betty Draper Francis, reveals her sultry side—and much, much more—in the racy Spring/Summer 2011 campaign for Versace.
Shot by Mario Testino, the provocative black-and-white photos show a nude Jones, boasting sexy, smoky eyes, and a perfectly tousled, ’60s-inspired wavy bob, and wearing nothing but the label’s luxe handbags, shoes, and eyewear.
“I am always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde, and in January I feel I have found a perfect Versace woman for the 21st century,” Donatella Versace says of the accessories-driven shoot.
“She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too—it is a ‘dramatic’ combination.”
Indeed. We may never look at Betty’s sorbet-hued capri pants the same way.
