The Kate Middleton Royal Engagement Portrait Doll.

The Franklin Mint, well known for its celebrity look-alike dolls, just débuted the Kate Middleton Royal Engagement Portrait Doll, a 16-inch-tall, hand-painted, lifelike mini Middleton complete with a shrunken-down silk jersey dress similar to the blue Issa she wore when she and Prince William announced their engagement on November 16, 2010. The doll will also feature a replica of her sapphire and diamond engagement ring, which belonged to Princess Diana.

According to the company’s Web site, “Kate Middleton is living the dream every little girl holds dear … and every woman remembers with a smile … becoming a princess.” The Franklin Mint adds that customers can “take home a piece of the fairy tale.”

This limited edition doll—only 5,000 will be produced worldwide—retails for $195 and comes with a display stand and certificate of authenticity.

Following her April 29 nuptials, the Franklin Mint will release a Royal Wedding Portrait Doll featuring an exact replica of Middleton’s wedding dress, jewelry, tiara, and hairstyle. The $295 collectible will be available this summer, but the company is taking pre-orders now.
