Stefano Gabbana Would Put Kate Middleton in a Tight, Sexy Dress
Though she has the Midas touch when it comes to moving merchandise, not every designer is lining up to dress the Duchess of Cambridge.
Stefano Gabbana, in a rather candid interview with the London Times, revealed that he isn't head over heels for the royal trendsetter.
“She’s nice. But I’m not crazy for," he told the paper. "She’s a simple girl, she’s sexy, she’s dressed in a nice way, but she’s a girl. There are a lot of beautiful girls.”
But if he could dress her, would it be an innocent white lace look befitting her station? Or perhaps something more daring to give younger sister Pippa a run for her money?
“A necklace with a rose and a Virgin. A little rose, black, with a stone. In a tight dress, a sexy dress. All the younger generation, they love sexy. And the older one, too!”
Did you really expect anything but va-va-voom hotness from Dolce & Gabbana?
(Incidentally, he didn't watch the royal wedding because, as he said, "I'm Italian.")
The designer, meanwhile, was enthusiastic over a different royal's fashion entry: the Queen of Pop's new fashion line, Truth or Dare.
“She [Madonna] knows many things. She has a style. There are a lot of pop stars making fashion collections — Kylie and J.Lo, Puff Diddy and Kanye West. Maybe next season, we should sing a song.”
