Alexander Wang's Spring Campaign Stars Maglosia Bela but No Clothing

But where are her clothes?

Alexander Wang's latest gig as the newly appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga may have him a little distracted from his namesake label, but he should still want to promote his own line, right?

The designer's Spring 2013 campaign shot by Steven Klein features a bleach white blonde Maglosia Bela covered in some kind of white powder and not a single piece of the Wang's spring collection.

While the image is undeniably striking (a hard thing not to be when you combine Klein's impressive eye and Bela's angular beauty), it's a bit confusing as to why an ad campaign would lack the things it is supposed to be campaigning.

Perhaps Wang is feeling a little egocentric after his new coveted position at Balenciaga and thus only feels the need to campaign his name. Or maybe this is meant to put emphasis on the snowy white pieces that dominated his spring collection? Whatever the reason, it's disappointing that he would choose not to show any of his pieces that have already made their way onto trendsetters like Rihanna.
