Nicole Richie Not Face of Halston
They may be down a celebrity since former president and chief creative officer Sarah Jessica Parker left the company, but we've confirmed that Nicole Richie is not stepping in as Halston's new star.
Showbiz Spy is reporting that Richie is in talks to be the new face of the label. “They wanted someone with Nicole’s fashion credentials,” a source told the gossip site.
Adding that “She is the perfect ambassador for Halston and even wore one of their gowns to the launch of her own fashion brand last week. She’d love to produce a capsule collection with them.”
While the House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate designer often wears dresses from the label (as seen left) and favors '70s-inspired style, which may seem like like a match made in Halston heaven, multiple sources close to the matter tell FashionEtc that there is no truth to the rumors.
