Shock value: CK One’s new fragrance ad

The gang's all here!

Calvin Klein has rounded up a group of familiar faces—led by go-to girl Lara Stone, naturally—for its CK One Shock fragrance Fall 2011 campaign.

Shot by Steven Meisel, the high-voltage video ad sees a bra-clad Stone and her pretty posse—DJ Alice Dellal, singer/songwriter Sky Ferreira, model/songwriter Ruby Aldridge, supermodel Wang Xiao, model Herieth Paul, boxing champion Robert Evans, model Aaron Frew, model/rapperYuri Pleskun, musician Ian Mellencamp, artist Viggo Janason, and singer Tomo Aki Kurata—preening for the camera as colorful strobe lights flash.

With its clubby, viral feel, the campaign is a fitting follow-up to the grainy and gritty CK One campaign launched in February.

"CK One has maintained its status as an iconic global brand, and the original shared fragrance, since it first launched in 1994," Catherine Walsh, Senior Vice President of American Fragrances for Coty Prestige, says in a press statement. "With the introduction of CK One shock we address the need of today's consumer to define their individuality while maintaining the core equities of the CK One franchise—authenticity and accessibility. CK One shock is for the times when you simply do not want to share."

”The introduction of the new dual-gender CK One shock fragrance provides a compelling and impactful new chapter for the iconic CK One franchise," adds Calvin Klein president and CEO Tom Murry.
