18 Fashion Designers Dressed Up for Halloween

A fashion designer's job is to create wearable clothing, but their creations don't end at their ready-to-wear collections. Come Halloween, some of our favorite designers pull out all the stops to create one-of-a-kind costumes that put our best DIY work to shame.

From friendly mockery like Roberto Cavalli dressing up as Karl Lagerfeld to a full on feathery couture dress worn by Christian Siriano as the duster from Beauty and the Beast, peep 18 fashion designers dressed up for Halloween.

If only we could hire them to design our own costumes...we have a feeling Sarah Burton would do a mean lizard.
