Roland Mouret Spring 2013 RTW
SHOW: Roland Mouret, Spring 2013
THEME: Asymmetrical Queen Bee
ACCESSORIES: Color blocked strappy sandals
OVERALL TAKEAWAY: Roland Mouret is known for his perfectly cut cocktail dresses, and this collection was no exception. He showed beautifully tailored dresses, tops, and skirts, but with a slight edge — almost every piece featured an asymmetrical seam or tie.
That asymmetry helped tone down what could have been "baddest bitch on the block" to "cool, confident woman in charge." It's all the best parts of the '80s you-go-girl statement office wear, minus all the unflattering shoulder pads.

The color palette was mostly black, white, and red, but no Nancy Reagan suits here — just sexy, clean lines and the occasional bold piece (were those leather shorts?) to take the look from workplace to weekend.
