The folks at Chrome Hearts have long insisted that celebrity collaborations aren't their thing. But when you count Kate Hudson as a close friend, well, things happen ...

London's swanky Selfridges department store played host to the press preview of CH + KH, a new jewelry collection designed by the actress and her longtime pal, Chrome Hearts co-founder Laurie Lynn Stark.

Inspired by their island travels (and making us wish we were on a white-sand beach rather than underneath a swarm of U.K.-issue rainclouds), the collection channels Hudson's signature bohemian-meets-glam style via whimsical butterfly-inspired motifs, feminine strands perfect for layering over a halter-neck sundress, and giant cocktail rings that make the starlet's paperweight of an engagement ring look almost miniscule.

And though Chrome Hearts ventures into new territory with the delicate and feminine collection—which marks their first use of pearls—they haven't lost their rock 'n' roll edge. Rings bearing vibrant peridot, aquamarine, citrine, and green tourmaline gems are stacked three to a finger, while the cuffs are suitably chunky and "statement-y."

Though pieces are currently offered in 18kt and 22kt gold, they're working on silver (of course) versions, while a multi-strand necklace will be divvied up so that shoppers can buy the seed pearl choker, individual strands, or even its seashell charms. Aw, you shouldn't have ...
